Why such a name? Because when you compare bags for carrying bowling balls, they had exactly the same shape to easily store the balls.

This type of bag can also be called a duffel bag because when full, it retains a volume that reminds us of our good old duffel, and moreover, in train stations or airport lobbies, when there are delays, people are regularly seen lying on a bench or on the ground with this duffel bag under their head, which then fulfills its second function.

So we see that the two terms, duffel bag and bowling bag, are perfectly associated; it's just a term used according to the fashion of the moment.

Always wanting to use the same materials, we first considered making it from leather, but leather is still subject to scratches, and these bags often end up on the ground or in the company of other bags or suitcases, accumulating scratches.

Moreover, leather is heavy, and a large bag like this would have been too heavy to be comfortable to carry.

Then came the idea of highlighting this superb denim made in Romans sur Isère with its singular shade (the super denim from 1083) and associating it with leather on the sides to create a two-tone bag with an original, fun, and sportswear look.
